Index — 004 / Process
Six steps, one specification.
Polishing is a manufacturing process, not a finish. Our protocol is documented, repeatable, and warrantied for ten years.
Diamond grit progression
Step 01
Site Assessment
We test the slab for hardness, moisture, and aggregate distribution. You receive a written report and finish recommendation within five business days.
Step 02
Mock-ups
We polish a 1.2 × 1.2 m sample on your slab so you can approve the actual finish — not a photograph, not a chart, the real floor.
Step 03
Prep & Crack Repair
Voids, joints, and cracks are routed and filled with semi-rigid polyurea. Existing coatings are mechanically removed.
Step 04
Grind & Hone
30 → 400 GRIT
Diamond passes progress from 30 grit through 400 grit, flattening the slab and exposing the chosen aggregate profile.
Step 05
Densify & Polish
800 → 3000 GRIT
Lithium silicate is applied between resin pad passes from 800 to 3000 grit, locking in density and clarity.
Step 06
Protect & Handover
A penetrating guard is applied, the floor is burnished, and a maintenance binder is provided so the finish can be cared for properly.
